Palm Tree Paintings
Hi! Everyone seems to like my Palm Tree Paintings, so I thought that I would create a fun video of them. I really enjoy going out at sunset to create them. I have yet to do a sunrise painting.
I am told that rendering palm trees is difficult. I believe that that is true, because you are working with alot of different components. From dead leaves hanging, to perhaps dates ripening, to their fantastic green crown. I believe that there are also well over a hundred different varieties of them.
The music is by Incendio. I saw this awesome band play at the Redlands Bowl last night. Can you believe that the music was available for free on Animoto! I was also amazed that I could listen to them on Pandora radio. Pandora is a free on-line radio station, which is almost completely commercial free. You just tell it what you like, and it creates a whole station based on your taste in music.

Your palm trees are good, and the music was very cool! I think palms are hard to paint because you have to show 3-dimensional depth and spiky texture in a small lollipop space. Distant palms are easy, but I find close up ones difficult when I try to show the fronds in front of the tree. You do that very well, especially on your latest ones.
